This is my little girl playing with a box call. She LOVES turkey calls and everytime she sees one she starts trying to yelp. It sounds more like "uh uh uh uh uh" and then she waits for me to gobble. Now she is getting to where she wants to be the one that gobbles, but she can't make any sound! I have a POS Cody pot that is hers to play with and she will go get it and the striker and come sit in my lap for me to run it for her.

You'll have to get her a 20 ga. before long. I have a Cody slate that really isn't that bad, but after buying some calls from Andy and Brett, I can see why someone would call it a POS. ;D

I CAN'T wait til the day I have to go buy that 20 gauge. But that Cody is a POS by any standards. Its "dead". I've heard others and this one was just assembled wrong or something. I contacted them several times concerning this and asked that they replace the call...............no response. Needless to say, I steery anyone thinking of a Cody in another direction.

She can have a Kaiser Kall when she is old enough to realize that even though banging the weighted end of the striker against the calling surface makes a loud noise, its not good to do.

you would be if you heard me say it. Must be the back woods in me, but it sounds more like glass-turd than anything else.

Beautiful! Thanks, I'm pretty proud of her. She is still very amused and interested in turkey calls and wants to sit in my lap every time she hears me practicing.
