Last year I started making my own diaphragm calls and now I'm going to give turning a few a try. I just bought a Jet lathe and will be placing an order for a Jet 14" band saw, 17" drill press and duct collector until tomorrow. No tools just yet! I've got a lot of reading and advice I need to collect first. Beside, I didn't plan on setting anything up until after my turkey season is over around mid May! That's if the turkey cooperate with my calling. I live in town called Contoocook and the Contoocook River (which runs behind my house) that both have a local nicked name of Tooky. So I took on the name Tooky River Calls for my call business. Hopefully it will become something that can bring in a little extra cash to support my turkey hunting habit while being a stay home Dad ;D ;D

Good luck with your new business. When you get it up and running be sure and post some pictures of the calls you're making.

Thanks good to hear I could use all the help you wish to pass on Andy ;D Here is a photo of my finished call package as they're going to be displayed. I just took 30 calls (6 of each shown) to my buddies sport shop here in NH. I've got to get busy this weekend making more. I'll be making a call donation to our local chapter banquet on the 17th.
