Well after my first attempt to hunt Gobblers a couple of years ago with my bow, it became evident really fast that they zoned in on my bright flouresent orange vanes I was using. I took seven of my shafts down today to have them revaned to have one brown vane, one gray vane and one olive drab vane on each shaft. Now I'll see if that helps me any this year to have the vanes a little better blended with the camo. What do you fellers thank of that idea?

I think it should help, but if you hunted out of a blind then the turkeys wouldn't see the vanes until it was too late. Myself I have a hard enough time hitting them with a shotgun, so the only time I may shoot at one with my bow is in the fall in a bird came by while I was deer hunting.
