always on the ground first then I will shoot for a elevated postion! Then most of the time I have to aim a in low when shooting at of a tree

Yup what FS said. I always do the ground thing first. My bow shoots fast enough that it's not that much diiference when shooting downward unless it's a log downward shot. But anywhere inside 35 yds I just put it on 'em like I do from the ground.

Ground level first as well. I haven't noticed any difference when shooting 20 yards ground level VS same distance from up in a tree.

I only shoot 2 pins for hunting. A 0 to 25 yard pin and a 30+ pin. I don't change a thing in a tree, just have to be mindful to measure distance from the tree base to the critter not me to the base, if you do that, then it shouldn't matter how high you are.

Skipper's right on this. Sight in on the ground, and then practice the way you will hunt. Just measure your shots from the base of the tree, not yourself. Gravity only affects the arrow over that distance even though the flight is actually longer.

Exactly what Skipper said. I shoot 2 pins also at the same distance as Skipper.
