Just curious, I was wondering how many of us prefer leaving the quiver off your bow when actually hunting. I feel that my bow is better balanced and easier to hang with the quiver off while up in my treestand. What's your feelings on it?

I think it's whatever your comfortable with. If someone practices with thier quiver on then they may be more inclined to leave it on in the stand. I myself prefer to leave mine on while hunting. I find that I'm used to the weight and can't really hold a light setup still in the wind.

I don't practice with my quiver on, so I also take it off when I get into a stand or ground blind.

I alway took mine off while in the stand, this past fall I bought a new bow with a quiver I couldn't remove with out an allen wrench, so I tossed it and bought a belt quiver.

I always take mine off while in stand or hunting from a ground blind just can't stand to shoot with it on unless I have to while stalking!

I also always take my quiver off when I get to my stand. I don't like the extra weight and noise when you shoot. Plus the bow is definately easier to lay on your lap w/out the quiver.

I use a quick detach quiver so when I get set up in my blind the quiver comes off the bow I also take my arrows out of the quiver and have one on the string ready to draw.
