Earlier this spring, I took my first double bearded bird. I called him in from over 300 yards. It took about an hour, but it was well worth it. Its awesome when you can call in a bird with a call that you made. He weighed 23 lbs, had 1 3/8" spurs and a real thick 12" beard plus a skinny 6 1/2" beard. He's an Eastern.
